12th June 2010: APSAA’s first newsletter will be issued in June 2010
8th June 2010: APSAA has released a new state of art website.
6th June 2010: Police Verification Cell is now functional.
3rd June 2010: APSAA Training School in Lahore is now open and fully functional.
1st June 2010: APSAA Office and Training School in Islamabad is now open and fully functional.
24th September 2009: The Executive Committee congratulated Chairman APSAA Brig ® Rashid Ali Malik on being elected as President of World Association of Detectives Inc. (WAD). WAD is an association of Investigators and Security Service providers having a world wide membership of over 800 members. A definite honour for APSAA and Brig ® Rashid Ali Malik.
24th August 2009: Executive Committee held a routine liaison meeting with PBA. General points were discussed in the meeting.
22nd August 2009 Chairman and members Executive Committee held a meeting with Chief Secretary Government of Sindh which was also attended by the Home Secretary. Some very important decisions were taken in the meeting.
14th July 2009: A meeting was held to welcome all the new members who have come in the folds of APSAA. The Chairman welcomed them on behalf of Executive Committee and apprised them of the working of APSAA and the code of conduct.
20th June 2009: A meeting with DG EOBI Mr. Muhammad Hanif Baluch was held in his office by the Chairman and members Executive Committee. Both sides gave their point of view on various problems.
03rd June 2009: Meeting with Commissioner SESSI was held in his office by Chairman and members Executive Committee. Chairman apprised the Commissioner about the problems being faced by the Security Companies regarding SESSI. The Commissioner promised to solve the problems pointed out by the Chairman on priority basis.
29th May 2009: A get together cum dinner was held at Creek Club. Major ® Haroon Maqsood Managing Director of FAMS Security played host. The dinner was very well attended by the members.
20th May 2009: APSAA opened its office in Lahore with the help of Lt. Col ® Muhammad Safdar Vice Chairman APSAA and other Executive Committee members from North Zone.
09th May 2009: Chairman APSAA gave a press briefing at Hotel Marriott highlighting the role of Security Companies in the present scenario and the problems being faced by them. The meeting was very well attended by representatives of print and electronic media. Question and answer session was held and tea break served to the participants
11th April 2009: General Body meeting was held at Defence Central Library DHA which was well attended by the members. The meeting was followed by tea break. Brig ® Rashid Ali Malik conducted the meeting and gave an outline plan of his future plans for APSAA.
09th April 2009: Chairman and members of Executive Committee held a meeting with Special Home Secretary government of Sindh Mr. Kamran Dost in his office. Chairman apprised the Secretary regarding problems being faced by Security Companies
14th March 2009: A special General Body meeting was held on 14.03.2009 with one point agenda of declaration of election results. Lt. Col ® Muhammad Akram Abbasi member election commission announced the official results on behalf of the election commissioner who could not come due to some emergency engagement in Islamabad |
