CODE OF ETHICS
CODE OF ETHICS - AS MEMBERS OF THE ALL PAKISTAN SECURITY AGENCIES ASSOCIATION
We share a singular responsibility for maintaining the integrity and trust of the private security profession. In discharging this responsibility we mutually pledge that:
I
We will endeavor to perform our professional duties in accordance with the highest moral principles.
II
We will direct our concerned efforts towards the support, advancement, elevation, and furtherance of high personal and professional conduct in the pursuance of business with our own clients, and with our fellow members.
III
We will strive to strengthen the membership by selecting and approving for membership only those qualified personally and professionally and whose business operations are conducted in an honest and legitimate manner within the given charter.
IV
We will be faithful and diligent in carrying out professional assignments entrusted to us.
V
We will respect the best interests of our clients by maintaining a high standard of performance and interaction.
VI
We will at all time perform our duties within the bounds of the law and will not permit nor tolerate/demand of any employee nor fellow member any violation of the law.
VII
We will labour diligently and unceasingly to elevate the performance of our Association members and not tolerate unscrupulous invasion of our business contract with clients by any member who intrudes, knowingly and willfully for his own private advantage or financial gain to the detriment of another member and association.
VIII
We will promote and protect the interest of our fellow members, and any member of the Association having knowledge of any unlawful or unprofessional practices by any other member shall immediately inform the Association thereof.
IX
We will further an honest and legitimate manner of operation and preserve a client's confidence.
X
We will respect the rights of our clients and refrain from divulging information to anyone, newspapers or other publications in the protection of our clients and to prevent interference in the administration of justice.
XI
We will avoid controversies with fellow members and if required take up issue/s needing reconciliation, with the Association.
XII
We will promote programs with educational intent designed to raise standards, improve efficiency, and increase effectiveness of private security companies as an industry.
XIII
We will work together toward the achievement/fulfillment of the professional objectives of the Association and the parameters of the higher authorities.
XIV
We will observe strictly the percepts of truth, accuracy and prudence.
