APSAA Achievements & Contributions

Training: 
APSAA provides for Computer Training program for guard force personnel.
Regular workshops are conducted for Managers and Supervisors on basic First Aid. 
Regular workshops are arranged to train the guards on all the laws pertaining to Security Guards on-duty conduct.

Indoor Firing Range Facilities in Karachi is provided for the training of the Security Guards.


Guard Registration Service: 
Registration certificates provided to about 9,000 guard force personnel of various member companies.


Monetary Assistance to Guards: 
APSAA also provides monitory assistance, by way of contribution, from member companies to the guard's heirs (as compensation) in case of guard's death on duty.


Legislative Work: 
APSAA actively works with relevant departments of the government on behalf of the member companies to change & or formulating relevant laws for the betterment of all involved. Currently, the Government functionaries have been provided a draft formulation of the Legislation representing interests of All Pakistan Security Agencies, which is most likely to be implemented in the near future. 


Some of the suggestions incorporated/amended in the draft are:
  • Definition of Security Agencies.
  • Removal of the word "Agency" from the draft.
  • Removal of word "Guard" to "Security Services".
  • Representation of APSAA members in the various committees providing assistance and guidelines to the government while taking major decisions against any member company.
  • Removal of the Section where the Director of the Company was being held responsible for any irresponsible acts of the employees.
  • Government Dept. to provide verification within 08 days.
  • The rules for Security Companies.
